Felicia Frisco, 17-year-old girl from Tampa, is sharing her bed with a six-month-old tiger called Will since the day he was born. Bengal tiger will be with her until he’s a year old and he’ll be used to educate others.
Florida teen comes from a family of animal handlers and her parents run a program called Tiger Encounter.
“They are professional trainers that live their whole life with animals and that gives them the opportunity to have an understanding of the psyche of these animals and how to care for them”, said doctor Bhagavan Antle of The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species, who knows Felicia’s family for years.
“My friends think it’s really cool that I have a pet tiger because most of them only have a cat or dog,” Felicia said.
For now, she’s still feeding the six-month-old tiger milk; but in just a few more weeks, he’ll eat only meat, reports ABC.
