Rifca Stanescu, from the village of Investi, Romania, has become the world’s youngest grandmother – aged just 23. Rifca eloped with her husband, Ionel, when she was just 11 years old, having her first child, Maria, when she was 12.

Despite her mother’s wishes to stay in school, Maria gave birth to son Ion at the age of 11, making Rifca the world’s youngest grandmother, The Sun reported.

Rifca’s mother, who is also called Maria, became a great-grandmother at just 40 years old. Rifca, now 25, told the Sun: ‘I am happy to be a grandmother but I wished something else for Maria – and something else for me.

    she is NOT Romanian, she is a Roma, a gypsy, who happens to live in Romania and who obviously doesn’t follow the law like all other gypsies. Romanian culture does not have arranged marriages or value such irresponsible behavior.

    It’s a disgusting culture. I do not know how they live in the Western Europe countries but in the southern parts of Ukraine they have the same lifestile as in Romania. What is worse, many of them don’t have any profession or job and to have something to live on, so they embrace all types of criminal life from the drug trafficking to the kidnapping and robbery.
