After being bullied without mercy at school for years I finally fought back and it changed my life. After learning how to smash faces with my fists all the bullies just disappeared, gutless and guileless. Casey you did the only thing that ever works with bullies – bring some serious hurt to them with hesitation…

We shouldn’t promote violence but, sometimes you have to fight back. Now maybe the bullying will stop in HIS case,,,,, But what about all the other cases out there. I think the best thing to do would be to suspend both kids. Although Casey stuck up for himself, the school has got to have a set rule to suspend for fighting. THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME and the bad part i didn’t hurt the kid you see i take karate and we only use self defense when we need it so a kid comes up and punches me once then the second time i defended and by the time a teacher came i was on the girls back yelling for a teacher and the teacher was sympathetic for the kid that attacked me and i got suspended 

when I was in school. I only kept crying afer  being bullied. Community/school didnt do anyhing since it is not heir biz. although i support fighting at bullies, i don’t support accepting punishment for defending yourself. i think that you’re hypocritical in that you refused to be bullied yet didn’t mind getting punished. a true anti-bully person refuses to accept punishment for standing up to bullies.

if you really hate bullies, then you should have fought back at the people who suspended you. that’s what i’d do if i’m ever in that situation.
