Firefighters have been called to Werribee Mercy Hospital in Melbourne, Australia to help a distressed man remove a ring from his penis.
The ring was stuck so tightly it had to be cut from the man’s penis. The man did not wait around to answer media questions, so there is no info on how the ring became stuck.
Emergency services said these types of call outs were common and more than half-a-dozen people are treated in Melbourne alone each year.
The metropolitan fire brigade in Melbourne has urged men to be more careful while dealing with stainless steel washers and rings, and not risk getting them stuck on their penises.
