John Lewis 2011 Christmas Ad

A heartwarming Christmas advert for the UK department store John Lewis, which comes with the slogan ‘for gifts you can’t wait to give’, is probably the best X-mas commercial you’ll see this season.

The ‘Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want’ song is performed by Amelia Warner aka Slow Moving Millie. It was originally recorded by The Smiths and Morrissey allowed John Lewis to use it in the ad.

    Auh, this advertisement is very awe-inspiring… It can melt the hearts of viewers and entice them to buy the advertised products or avail of the company’s services. Kids should watch this to see an image of themselves doing that. That li’l boy is a good role model.
