Brinicle – Underwater Icicle of Death (Video)

Brinicle is an underwater icicle or ‘finger of death‘ that freezes everything in its path. The unusual phenomenon has been captured for the first time by BBC film-makers. The video was recorded using a special time-lapse camera that caught the brinicle’s entire formation process.
