Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad Shoves Mascot After Win in Helsinki

Runner Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad shoved a mascot after the 3,000 meter steeplechase win at the European athletics championship in Helsinki and, naturally, the whole incident was caught on camera.

It is customary for the gold medal winners to be greeted by a flower girl, so maybe Mekhissi-Benabbad was disappointed to see that he will be getting his gift bag from a mascot.

Or maybe he just has a thing against mascots considering this is not his first incident. Either way, what a jerky thing to do!

Oh, did I mention that the mascot was a 14-year-old girl?

    Well, as far as I know you cannot go in the street beating people. Considering that fairplay is not a caracteristic of this person, why do not denounce him for to the court for misconduct with a minor girl?
