Dino Ferrari, and his twin brother Dario, caught a giant catfish in northern Italy’s River Po, last Thursday. Maybe you’ve seen some pictures already, but the video (above) is new. The fish weighed 280-pound (127-kilogram) and was 8.75-foot (2.7-metre) long. It’s not the world’s biggest catfish ever caught (that would be a nearly 342-pound/155kg monster snared in Brazil’s Amazon), but it may set a new world record for the biggest catfish landed with a fishing rod and reel. After a traditional photo-shoot with their catch, the brothers released the fish back into the river.
