SpaceX Grasshopper rocket is a 10-story Vertical Takeoff Vertical Landing (VTVL) vehicle designed to return to the launch pad. Basically, a reusable rocket that doesn’t burn up in the atmosphere during reentry.

In the latest test, the Grasshopper flew 820 feet up in the air, tripling the height flown on its previous leap.
