Grzegorz Pączko, a Polish security guard, saved a baby boy from a head-first fall at Katowice airport, November 23. Newly released CCTV footage shows the baby’s father putting on his jacket after going through the airport’s x-ray machine when his son starts slipping off the counter. Luckily, the security guard swoops in for an amazing last-second catch.
A lion gets thrown into the air by a buffalo bull trying to save his friend from certain death. The extraordinary footage was filmed by Ian Matheson and his son Oliver in the Mjejane Reserve, on the border of Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Five stray donkeys were found nearly frozen in Karlik village, near Siverek, Turkey’s Sanliurfa province. The donkeys were almost completely covered in ice and stayed alive by huddling together for warmth. They were rescued by a group of villagers who took them to a nearby stable.
Meet Sniffer the Fox and Tinni the Dog, a real life fox and hound from Norway. They are best friends that met in a forest where Tinni’s owner, photographer Torgeir Berge lives. A deer got stuck on a garage roof in the town of Verneuil-sur-Indre, France, Monday night. It’s believed that the deer found his way on the roof from a neighboring garden and was unable to get down because of slippery roof tiles. Obviously it wasn’t one of Santa’s reindeer otherwise it would have just flown away. This way it took a three-hour rescue mission to get the deer off the garage roof.
Two planes carrying skydivers collided mid-air over Superior, Wisconsin, on Saturday evening. Amazingly, everyone survived the accident. Skydivers filmed the collision from multiple angles with their helmet cameras. Watch the footage in the NBC Nightly News report below:
