Spanish cargo ship ‘Luno’ split in half off the south-western coast of France, at Anglet, on Wednesday. The ship had been heading to a nearby port to load up with cargo when its engine failed and the rough waves carried it into a jetty where it broke in two. The 12-man crew was evacuated by a helicopter. The accident was caught on camera:
A man was completely uninjured after being run over by a bus in Ankara, Turkey. The accident happened after the brakes on the parked city bus failed, making it go out of control in reverse. The whole thing was caught on security cameras and you can see the man get up from under the bus at the 0:34 mark. It’s the same guy that helps that little girl:
A young woman was almost swept out to sea by waves of incoming tide after she taunted mother nature at the second Sardinero beach in the Spanish city of Santander, Cantabria. Luckily she was only dragged for a while, but it goes to show – you don’t fool around with your life like that.
A small plane made an emergency landing on Mahurangi beach in New Zealand after the aircraft’s engine failed, only to crash again later during take-off. Pilot Dennis Horn and his co-pilot Manfred Scherbius were both uninjured.

Accident at the Amurmetal steel plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Russia, turns the factory floor into lava. It seems that the crane ladle got stuck and the operator went crazy, spraying molten metal everywhere. You can tell his colleagues were not happy about it.
A Russian car mechanic is lucky to be alive after a tire explosion send him flying into the air. He injured his knee, but otherwise he was OK.
