Storm Destroys Cars Aboard a Ship (Video)
A total of 64 cars were aboard cargo ship Astongate traveling from Toyama, Japan, to Vladivostok, Russia. After the storm hit the ship – 52 of them ended up at the bottom of the sea. You would think that would be enough to cost someone their job but, according to the video’s description, whoever bought those cars signed a document allowing the cargo to be transported on ship’s deck at their own risk.
Crane Falls on Building in Kirov, Russia (Video)
A heavy construction crane collapsed and fell on a building in the city of Kirov, Russia, destroying balconies from the first to the fifth floor and smashing the cars parked outside. It’s speculated that the crane came crashing down due to high winds and security violation. No one was injured in the accident.
