A biologist at Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium in North Carolina has been bitten on the arm by a roaming alligator as he tried to help capture the animal in Carteret County. The unnamed scientist was already released from the hospital after the attack which happened on Tuesday in a ditch near Highway 70 in Stacy.
In attempt to inspire fellow scientists to have fun just as much as they did, two Virginia biologists created first living Google logo out of fast-multiplying bacteria.
Sylvia Mythen, a 70-year-old grandmother from Venice, Fl, snapped a photo of the world’s first orange alligator. Although some biologists suggested that it’s colored that way because it’s ‘half albino’, other disagree.
Adorable. :)
