A Canadian couple is lucky to be alive after lightning struck their car, Saturday afternoon. Al and Betty Perry were driving on Highway 14 near Tofield, Alberta, when their Chevy pickup truck was turned into a fireball. The dramatic moment was caught on a surveillance video. A hero cat saved a little boy from a vicious dog attack in Bakersfield, California. Roger Triantafilo‘s 4-year-old son was riding a bike in their driveway when he was attacked by the neighbor’s dog. Right away the family cat jumped to the boy’s rescue, chasing the dog away. According to reports, the boy was taken to a hospital and received 10 stitches, while the dog was picked up by animal control and will be put to sleep.
Supposedly this accident took place in Miami, sometime recently.

A guy was knocked off his bike by a pickup truck, but got saved by a mattress which fell from the very same car that hit him. The accident was caught on security cameras in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. According to eyewitnesses, the cyclist wasn’t injured.

A man was completely uninjured after being run over by a bus in Ankara, Turkey. The accident happened after the brakes on the parked city bus failed, making it go out of control in reverse. An elderly Scottish couple had a very close encounter with a bear while visiting relatives in Pasadena, California, Tuesday morning. Bob and Irene McKeown were completely oblivious to the bear’s presence and didn’t notice that the bear was right next to them on the porch as they were leaving the house. The whole incident was caught on the home security camera:

Grzegorz Pączko, a Polish security guard, saved a baby boy from a head-first fall at Katowice airport, November 23. Newly released CCTV footage shows the baby’s father putting on his jacket after going through the airport’s x-ray machine when his son starts slipping off the counter. Luckily, the security guard swoops in for an amazing last-second catch.
