The four-wide finish of today’s Firestone Indy Lights race was probably the closest finish Indianapolis Motor Speedway ever saw. Peter Dempsey won by a narrow .0026 seconds. Watch the amazing photo-finish in the video below:
A fan watching today’s 10th stage of the Giro D’Italia took a wrong step and ended up falling down the hill as the cyclists cruised past him. Hope he was OK – that was quite a drop.

Motorcycle racer Marlinton dos Reis Teixeira, aka Kalunga, was banned from a Grand Prix Moto Race in the city of Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil, after pretending to faint during the race. Kalunga slipped on the rainy track and decided to go for a red flag by feigning a fainting spell, following a couple of unsuccessful attempts to return to the race.
