A bear came to a crow’s rescue at the Budapest Zoo in Hungary and it was all caught on camera. Instead of eating the bird that got stuck in water inside his enclosure, the bear gently picked the crow up and dropped it just outside the pond. Amazing!
These baby ducks and their mom were very lucky to survive running across a busy road in Russia. Thankfully, they had a helping hand in this biker and a couple of other do-gooders:
Jason Strickland of the Denbigh Bird Club and kayaker Amy Angelopoulos rescued an osprey from the grips of a clam in Pleasure House Point Natural Area in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The clam grabbed onto the osprey’s foot and was pulling him down. After the humans freed him, the bird stayed around for a minute to dry off and then flew away. A hero cat saved a little boy from a vicious dog attack in Bakersfield, California. Roger Triantafilo‘s 4-year-old son was riding a bike in their driveway when he was attacked by the neighbor’s dog. Right away the family cat jumped to the boy’s rescue, chasing the dog away. According to reports, the boy was taken to a hospital and received 10 stitches, while the dog was picked up by animal control and will be put to sleep.
