Richie Trimble’s Stoopid-Tall bike was the tallest bicycle at this year’s CicLAvia event in Los Angeles. Standing at 14.5 ft to the seat, Stoopid-Tall is not the tallest rideable bicycle in the world but the footage filmed from Trimble’s POV is still awesome:
SpaceX Grasshopper rocket is a 10-story Vertical Takeoff Vertical Landing (VTVL) vehicle designed to return to the launch pad. Basically, a reusable rocket that doesn’t burn up in the atmosphere during reentry.
In the latest test, the Grasshopper flew 820 feet up in the air, tripling the height flown on its previous leap.
